Why has mens fashion become feminine since the 1950′s?

Teenage boys started wearing tight jeans in the 1950′s .If men are feminine they will expect women to be the MEN they should be.Skinny jeans were meant for females since they do look better on them, girls prefered form fitting clothing while men liked baggy to be masculine.

I agree your question fails. By definition, what becomes men’s fashion is no longer feminine (because it’s become accepted for men.) There’s no absolute definition of what is feminine. It all depends on what’s in fashion at the time. In past times form-fitting clothing for men has been fashionable. A Shakespeare play in authentic costumes is a good example. In those time the men wore the form-ftting tights, and the shape of a woman’s body was hidden. Catholic priests complained about young men being too promiscuous in how they wore their tights. Today we have skinny jeans. Levi’s latest Ex-Girlfriend men’s style is pretty close to a pair of tights.

A lot of men, especially teenagers and young men, want to be cool and wear the latest styles. But only a very small number, gay or not, intend to appear feminine. When they wear styles that are popular for men, such as styles worn by celebrities, they don’t consider it feminine, and neither do women their age. It’s just the current cycle of fashion.
